‘Capture The Weight of Time in Film’, explores three examples
of how time and space are shown in film, and how many see films as a magical fantasy that they can escape to.​ The project conveys a passage of time, the shared journeys that connect
us all. Film is a beautiful art form that can be a visceral, dreamy and life-changing. This is shown through trippy conceptual illustrations and image-making.
Project Solution
The use of visual devices was executed to further communicate the themes of the films explored in the publication. To embrace the uniqueness of the individual filmmakers, glowy and shiny illustrations were developed to create a warm, nostalgic and meditative experience for the readers. These illustrations reflect the themes of time and space in film to depict the narrative in a surreal atmosphere.
